Eligible Carbon Reduction Measures

Enhance insulation, upgrade to efficient boilers, or install heat pumps
Manufacturing Equipment
Energy-efficient motors, compressors, gearboxes, and actuators
Key Eligibility Requirements
- Your business must be located within Nottingham City Council boundaries
- Must have been trading for at least 12 months
- Lease agreements must have minimum 12 months remaining
- Registered at Companies House or have HMRC Unique Tax Reference
- You fund 100% upfront, then receive 50% reimbursement as grant
- Projects must be capital investments (not revenue costs)
- Maximum £315,000 Minimal Financial Assistance over 3 years applies

Expression of Interest
Submit initial project details for eligibility check
Full Application
Provide detailed plans, quotes, and carbon savings calculations
Grant Agreement
Receive formal approval and proceed with purchases
Claim & Reimbursement
Submit evidence and receive 50% grant payment
Scheme open until all funding has been committed
All projects must be completed by February 2026
Final claims must be submitted by 6th March 2026
